Here’s this week’s Penguin of the Week!

Club Penguin Puffle Party 2016 Coming Next Month

Today on Club Penguin’s Blog Megg announced that next month’s party will be the Puffle Party! Check out the blog post:

The PUFFLE PARTY is coming and it’s PACKED with puffles! 41 of them!

So guess what? We’ll be featuring ALL OF THEM on the blog, starting with the BLUE PUFFLE!

The blue puffle is old school cool. They were seen way back in 2005! They are really loyal to friends.

One of the strangest rumors about the blue puffle is that they have secret superpowers.

Could that be true? Or maybe someone actually saw a blue crystal puffle flying?

Today Club Penguin hid a new pin on the island, meaning that the Stinky Cheese Pin, the previous pin, is no longer available. Instead you can find the new pin, the Herbertech Pin, at the Town.

On Monday Megg announced that this week’s Penguin of the Week is Katkakes08. She also clarified the rules regarding Penguin of the Week. Here’s her blog post:

Hi Penguins,

Happy Monday! Hope everyone had a great weekend! 😀

First off, if you don’t know how it all started, Penguin of the Week was created to celebrate so many amazing players in our community. We always get stellar nominations for PotW and we want to give you some behind-the-scenes info about the process.

1. Any penguin (members and free players) nominated can win as long as they don’t have negative history on their accounts. We do understand that mistakes happen, and we make sure to take that into account when looking at the history.
2. The team looks at the penguin overall, not just how many people have nominated them.
3. Penguins can only win PoTW once, so more of our amazing players have a chance to win.
4. We can only choose one penguin per week, so if you don’t win, try again!
5. Club Penguin seriously has the best community in the world. So after someone wins, we love seeing the supportive, positive emails you send. Keep it up.
