Now Hiring [Emergency]

Between July 13 and July 17, July 20 and July 24, I wouldn’t be able to post on this blog. Therefore, I am planning to find a substitute to take over during that time. However, you must have the following requirements in order to be hired for the 10 days.

• Email – of any kind
• Experience with WordPress – If you’ve used Blogger, you are fine too
• Know proper English – If you don’t know proper grammar or spelling, don’t apply
• Good reason why you want to help – Don’t say you want to be hired because it will be cool

Please understand the following is not allowed:

• You are NOT allowed to advertise
• No referral links (Prizerebel, etc)
• No personal stories (I had a bad day because… etc)
• Derogatory language (cursing, swearing, hate, etc)
• IM language (see below)

There are rewards too:

• Fame and appreciation
• Be on our blogroll until August, and reciprocal link is not required
• IF YOU DO A GOOD JOB, I WILL BUY YOU A MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP (no kidding)

• Penguin name – not your real name
• Website – that is, if you have one
• Sample post – please email me the HTML code of a post which you would publish. See below.
• Experience on Club Penguin – how long have you been playing Club Penguin and whether you are a member or not
• Experience with blogging – If you have a website, tell us how long you’ve had it
• IM accounts – that is, if you have one. Please use AIM or Google Talk please, please do not use Yahoo or MSN messenger or ICQ

We are not going to ask you why since it’s probably for the membership or the fame.

Club Penguin Times Issue 195 was released today.

The Music Jam will begin on July 17 and will end on July 26.

This week is the beginning of the fifth week of fun.

There is an article on Sensei’s successful visit which probably nearly crashed all the Club Penguin servers.

The In Focus is on the play, Ruby and the Ruby.

According to this week’s secret, there will be a pin hidden inside the Ruby play.

There is a word search.

Sensei Tracking Tips

This is a holiday weekend in the United States and the majority of the Club Penguin users live in the United States. For this reason, there are too many people online, and nearly all the servers are full. It is impossible to get into a server on page 1 unless if you are a member, and it is impossible to get into the Ninja Hideout for both members and nonmebers. Therefore I have developed a list of tips which will help you find Sensei.

• If you log into a server and don’t see Sensei, immediately log out and try another server.
• If you see an unpopular server with 5 bars (and you are a member), then Sensei might be there.
• The easiest time to find him is early in the morning or late at night for the United States. This means between 10:00 PM (22:00) PST to 5:00 AM PST.
• If you have the time, you can find him the hard way. Just log into one of the popular servers (Blizzard, Frozen Mammoth) and wait in the Ninja Hideout until he comes.
• You can try to go down the list of all the servers one by one. However, there are 115 English servers so this will take a long time.
• Try finding him on the French, Portuguese, and Spanish servers. He will eventually have to show up there. There are not as many users, and the servers are emptier.
• If you are in the Ninja Hideout and it is really full, open your buddy list, click the icon with a two-eye-smily, and scroll down to S to see if Sensei is in the room. If he is, click on his name and grab his free autograph.
• If your computer is lagging too much (working way too slow), press the = button on your computer to play in Low Resolution. This will speed up Club Penguin.
• It is NOT true you all have to get off the center floor for Sensei to come. Some people are just saying this to be funny.
• Sensei will be operated by bots most of the time. I don’t think Club Penguin will hire 40 $20 an hour moderators to roam servers just to make nonmembers happy.
