New Club Penguin Song Coming Out In The Near Future

Posted by Trainman1405 on October 16, 2012 under Other Stuff | 1 Comment »

As tweeted by Billybob today, Club Penguin is working on a brand new single and it’s practically done! He said it’s pretty “cool”. What do you think about it? Are you excited for the song?  This will be Club Penguin’s fourth song. I personally think it will be out sometime in November.

Adding Club Penguin Mascots Without Meeting

Posted by Tech163 on October 16, 2012 under Cheats and Tips | 35 Comments »

It’s been discovered that you can add mascots without meeting them. Keep in mind that you may and probably will get banned for doing this, according to the Club Penguin moderator Polo Field (more on this at the end of the post). If you do this correctly, you will end up with something like:

Log in to Club Penguin, and choose any arbitrary server. Please do this in Google Chrome. Once you are logged in, right click OUTSIDE of the flash region and click ‘Inspect Elements’.

You will see a number of tabs. Switch to the ‘Console’ tab.

To add a certain mascot, here are the numbers associated. The example above would add Herbert. Change the number 10 to the number of the mascot you wish to add. Hit the enter/return key on your keyboard to execute the command.

  1. Rockhopper: 1
  2. Aunt Arctic: 2
  3. Cadence: 3
  4. Gary: 4
  5. Franky: 5
  6. Petey K: 6
  7. G Billy: 7
  8. Stompin’ Bob: 8
  9. Sensei: 9
  10. Herbert: 10
  11. Wheel Bot: 11
  12. Jet Bot: 12
  13. Snow Bot: 13
  14. Protobot: 14
  15. Dot: 15
  16. Rookie: 16
  17. Jet Pack Guy: 17
  18. Director: 18
  19. Happy77: 26
  20. Billybob: 27
  21. PH: 28
  22. Rocky: 29
  23. CeCe: 30

Once again, I warn you, there is a high probability that you will get banned for doing this, even if you do this on a different penguin on the same computer. I have yet to try it myself, but I believe it will work. You have been warned.

Club Penguin Herbert Posts Operation Blackout Sneak Peek

Posted by Trainman1405 on October 16, 2012 under Other Stuff | Comments Off on Club Penguin Herbert Posts Operation Blackout Sneak Peek

Over on Club Penguin’s @clubherbert Twitter account, they have posted a sneak peek of Operation Blackout. The tweet was tagged with “my current view”, meaning Herbert is looking at it. There is a blank list of who to capture, a mug reading Illustrious Leader Supreme, an image of Gary, a computer, a red light, blueprints, and a note saying “Enjoy it before I destroy it”. How ominous!

Club Penguin’s Gift Shop To Be Remodeled

Posted by Trainman1405 on October 13, 2012 under Other Stuff | 3 Comments »

Today the Club Penguin staff member Polo Field hinted that the Gift Shop will be remodelled! He did not say when, he just said it will be. I personally think it will be updated by the end of the year. What do you think? Here is his tweet saying so:

Club Penguin’s Guide to the Wonderful World of the Web

Posted by Trainman1405 on October 12, 2012 under Other Stuff | Comments Off on Club Penguin’s Guide to the Wonderful World of the Web

Club Penguin recently posted a document on their Disney UK website giving parents and kids a guide on how to navigate the web. You can read the document at this link. Here is a quick excerpt from it:

For more than a decade parents have had to adapt their parenting skills to the presence of the Internet in their children’s lives. We guide them on how to use the web to maximise its potential benefits, while minimising their exposure to harmful content. However, the speed at which things are changing means that learning how to use the Internet and new technologies safely is a voyage of discovery, not only for children but also those responsible for them.

My daughter is 14 years old and like many other teenagers she has grown up with the Internet in her life. Growing up online means that children are able to record and share details of their lives, pursue their passions and personalise their online presence, all of which helps to shape their identities. Parents play a critical role in supporting their child’s online activities.
