Party like a penguin

Ghoulish ghosts. Spooky sounds. Tempting treats. It’s time for our annual Halloween Party! Your child can explore the new Haunted Mansion, and scour its secret passageways for clues to help solve a mystery. Everyone can hunt for ghosts, but only members can become ghosts and haunt the island! Here’s a tip to share with your child: If they visit the Ghost Lab, they’ll find an extra catalog full of additional Halloween-themed dress up items for their penguin.

Shake it Down!

Club Penguin’s favorite pop-diva, DJ Cadence, is back, and she’s teamed up with The Penguin Band for a new song, “Ghosts Just Wanna Dance”. Why not get in on the fun with your child? Watch the video with them and download the song from iTunes!

Sing Happy Birthday!

ClubPenguin is turning 7! On October 23 and 24, players can pick up some cake and a free party hat in the Coffee Shop. To learn about the island’s history, check out the yearbooks in the Book Room upstairs, and read the original Club Penguin launch announcement.

The homepage now has an app banner on mobile iOS devices running Safari with a link to Puffle Launch.

Club Penguin’s new logo is now all over their website.

Finally, Club Penguin’s Twitter account recently got verified finally.

You can now play Ghosts Just Wanna Dance in your igloo.

Club Penguin Halloween Party 2012 Cheats

The Club Penguin Halloween Party 2012 has been released! Here is a complete guide:

When you first log on there is this mission form Gary the Gadget Guy:

Go to the Forest to access the mansion:

You need to collect three keys.

The first key for the forbidden prize, is hidden right before your eyes.

The second key is rather grave. Check the cemetery if you’re brave.

The third key’s made of rotten fish. A special dish will grant your wish.

The fourth key’s next, so take a look. Your answer lies within a book…

The final key to our little game, is behind a batty picture frame…

The first key is in the first mansion room on the chest:

The second one is in the graveyard:

The second one is in the Dining Room:

The fourth one is in the Library:

The fifth one is in the Study:

Once you collect all the keys you can get the Ghost Goggles.

The Ghost Goggles let you see ghosts and access a secret room.

The secret room is located here through the doors:

In the secret room you will get a message from Gariwald. Pick up the free background.

In the Ghost Lab members can become a ghost.

There is a special catalogue in the Ghost Lab. You can hunt ghosts with the Ghost Hunting outfit. Wear it and throw a snowball.

There is also a To-Boo list as ghost. You can press D as a ghost in the following rooms and you can get prizes up to 99 times.

Club Penguin Gary Tracker October 2012

Gary has arrived on Club Penguin! Our tracker is very accurate, and will track down Gary within Club Penguin. He is waddling around Club Penguin before and during the Fall Fair.

Tips for finding Gary on your own – There are a few things to keep in mind when looking for Gary on your own. Below, we have outlined some of the useful things to know while tracking the mascots:

• Track the popular servers – The mascots will always appear on the popular servers at some point in time. These popular servers include Mammoth, Abominable, Blizzard, Frozen, Sleet, among many others. One common strategy is to wait in the town of the server until the mascot appears. While this often works, it is very time consuming. If you do not have as much time, we recommend you refresh our tracker once every few minutes for the latest location.
• Check the popular rooms – The mascots often go to rooms such as the Dock, Town, Plaza, Beach, and the Ice Berg. They may occasionally appear in other rooms as well, although it is less likely.
• Look for abnormal server population – If a server that is typically 1 bar suddenly has 5 bars, it is likely that the mascot is currently on that server. Log into that server and check the popular rooms.
• Form a search party – They always say two heads are better than one. What if you have even more than two heads? It’s often a good idea to form search parties where everyone looks through a certain set of servers, and share the location with each other once they see a mascot. We have provided a chat, so everyone can form search parties easily!
• Check during peak hours – The mascots tend to appear more on weekends, and during times when there is a large number of penguins playing Club Penguin. During the weekdays, this time is typically from 1PM PST until 10PM PST.
• Join our tracker chat – People in our chat are working together to find Gary, so joining our chat may help lead you to the mascot’s location!
