Club Penguin Giving Their Play Page a New Look Tomorrow

Tomorrow when Club Penguin releases their weekly updates, along with a new newspaper and furniture & igloo catalogue they will also be updating their play page! Here’s what it’s going to look like:

As you can see, the biggest and most obvious change is that there is a blue background instead of white. The navigator bar has also been updated. Other than that, that’s about it!

Club Penguin Blog You Decide: Musical Items!

Club Penguin needs your help picking a wig for a music themed party later this year! There are four different coloured wigs and you need to let Club Penguin know on their blog which one you like the most. I voted for purple!

Club Penguin Mod Meetup With Grand Stand – January 12, 2015

Right now (2:00 PM PST) Club Penguin is having another mod meetup with Grand Stand! This time it’s on the server Aurora. Here’s all the details, courtesy of Megg’s blog post:

Word on the island is, last week’s mod meetup was tons of fun! So much fun in fact, that I asked Grand Stand to come back and host today’s meetup 😀

This time, there will also be a theme… LIGHTS! Here’s a message from Grand Stand about why she chose lights as the theme:

“One of my favorite natural phenomena is the Northern Lights, aka the Aurora borealis: Everyone bring a latern, flashlight or glowing item to Mod Monday! We’re going to do a light parade across the island.”

If you missed your chance to meet Grand Stand last week, here are some fun facts:

1. I love making magic happen, and making someone’s day.
2. My music playlist contains a lot of rock and roll, both classic and contemporary.
3. My favorite instruments to listen to are the cello and the oboe.

In addition to the Puffle Wild Game On commercial, a second Club Penguin commercial has been airing on Disney Channel lately. This commercial is about the Star Wars Rebels Takeover that begins on January 22nd. It is an advertisement for the party. If you’re interested, you can watch it below:

Disney Club Penguin Game On Commercial: Puffle Wild App

Recently a new Game On began airing on Disney Channel. This time the Game On segment features Hallie talking about Club Penguin’s Puffle Wild app for iOS that was released a little over a month ago. Here it is:

Club Penguin App Updated To Version 1.6

Yesterday Club Penguin’s iOS app received a small update. The update brings the app to version 1.6. This update includes minor bug fixes and optimised performance – the usual behind the scenes changes. The update also removes the santa hat from the app’s icon that was added last month for the holidays.
