Club Penguin Times Issue 198 was released, although several hours late.

This is the last chance you’ll get to submit a story to the Penguin Tales. The winners will be announced on September 10.

Another week of not so fun week-of-fun.

The brand new color vote has ended, and you will be able to buy the brand new color in the clothing catalog released on August 7.

There is a problem with the glass windows in the Cave/Pool. Can this mean a new mission?

The In Focus is on igloos.

The secret this week tells you all items, other than pins and anniversary hats, will eventually return.

There is a puzzle shuffle.

Club Penguin has decided to add 5 new servers to the English version of Club Penguin.

Music Jam a Hit

Music Jam has been a hit, and many penguins has said they enjoyed hearing their instruments at the Lighthouse Stage. Club Penguin has decided to make it a permanent thing. In about a week, you will be able to hear your instruments when you play them at the lighthouse stage.

Although the Music Jam is now over, you will still be able to hear some of the party’s music in your igloos, so make sure to check back soon for updates!

Color Vote

I can’t really seem to choose which one is my favorite, I like all of  them! That’s why it was so hard to vote for a color. (The results of the vote will be in the August 6th Newspaper)

The 197th Issue of Club Penguin Times is released!

From July 24th to July 29th there will be a voting booth set up in the forest to vote.

The Penguin Tales Contest starts today!

The Contest is from July 23rd to August 5th. The Topics are:

• The Hiking Vikings…
• Wacky Wildlife in the Wilderness!
• My ultimate igloo dance party…
• The Day we turned blue… and sunk the Iceberg!

Details

• 4 winning stories will be added to the Book Room.
• Each winner will also receive 10101 coins and a special post card!
• Stories can be submitted in English, Portuguese, French or Spanish. 1 story from each language will be selected!

Remember!

Entries have to be original and have something to do with Club Penguin. They’ll be judged based on their creativity, as well as spelling, grammar, and punctuation.

Music Jam Secrets

Here are some secrets for the Music Jam Party, as stated by Screenhog:

• If you have an instrument, then you should go to the Lighthouse stage! If you play your drums, tuba, trombone, or any guitar, you can actually hear what you’re playing. Just wear the instrument (only the instrument and no other items) and dance!
• The Underground Cave has a floor piano! Step on a key. Oh, and the switch on the wall lets you hear other penguins!
• There are musical icicles in the Mine. Mouse over them!
• Battle of the Bands at the Snow Forts! The stages are connected to a meter and the one with the most penguins wins!
• The Music Maker 3000 is back! Last year it was in the Dojo but this time it’s near the Snow Forts. Bring some friends and play giant musical instruments.
• Keep checking out the big stage at the Dock as it plays music from all of the other stages. (It’s also the entrance to the Backstage.
