Club Penguin Times Issue 275

Club Penguin’s weekly newspaper, the Club Penguin Times, has been released. This brings up to the 275th newspaper. This week, it mainly talks about the Wilderness Expedition and how Brown Puffles have been found.

It also contains tips for explorers.

Super Exclusive: Club Penguin Facebook Application VIDEO

Hey everyone! Yesterday we reported about the Club Penguin Facebook Application that is in the works, and guess what? I was on Facebook this morning, and came across the link for it! I filmed it, so here’s the video:

As you can see in the bottom left, it’s currently in beta. It does look a little plain, too. However as it’s still getting worked on I’m sure they’ll make it look much better. What are your thoughts on it? I think it’s pretty interesting! Here’s a picture:

Reviewed By You (& Brown Puffle!)

Billybob has posted a new reviewed by you on the Club Penguin Blog. Last week he asked what new EPF technology you wanted to see in Club Penguin, and Maui8 said:

I think it would be cool if we had a pair of glasses to see through walls and caves and big piles of snow, a shirt to make us completely invisible, or maybe a hat that can fly us around. Waddle on CP!

This week they want to know what types of experiments you’re doing with your Brown Puffle, so be sure to answer! At the top of the blog post he also mentions the Brown Puffle, by the way. It reads:

Exclusive: Club Penguin Facebook App Coming Soon!

Hi everyone! While taking the Club Penguin Parent Survey, I came across some pretty cool information. It talks about how they are currently developing a Facebook Application for parents to use, in which parents can track what types of things their child does on Club Penguin (such as achievements, games played, etc), how often they play, etc. It would also allow parents to post what their child does on Club Penguin on Facebook for others to say. One thing that kind of “killed” the whole idea is it asked how much you would consider paying for the use of the application.

Club Penguin Parent Survery

Any Club Penguin Parent accounts have received a new newsletter, this time it contains a survey for parents. It looks like this:

It starts with questions such as your gender and age. If you say you are under 18 (the second question) it immediately takes you to the end of the survey, as it is for parents only. After the first few basic questions, it asks more advanced ones such as:

• What your job type is
• If a family member has a Club Penguin Membership
• The age of your children who are members (ages 1-18)
• How long your kids have played Club Penguin (does 1-12 months, then 1 year or more)
• How long your kids have been a member
• How frequently your kids play Club Penguin
• Who your kid plays Club Penguin with (alone, adult, another child in the same room, another person on CP, with another child who is online and both children are also talking on the telephone to each other, or with another child who is online and both children are also chatting online with one another)
• How much your child likes Club Penguin, on a scale from1 to 5 with 5 being they like it a lot.
• What type of activities your child has done in the past week on Club Penguin (games, adopted a puffle, sent postcards, trained to be a ninja, igloo party, etc)
• What games your child has played in the past 7 days
• How familiar the parent is with Club Penguin
• What your overall opinion of Club Penguin is (poor, fair, good, very good, excellent)
• Disagree, Neither Disagree or Agree, or Agree statements
• “How important is it that the online sites where your child plays do each of the following?”
• More disagree, Neither Disagree or Agree, or Agree statements
• How likely you (the parent) is to renew your child’s membership
• Why you chose what you did on whether or not you would renew your child’s membership
• If there is anyone else that influences the purchase/renewal decision of your child’s Club Penguin subscription
• How interested you are in reports on what your child does on Club Penguin, including game achievements, learning, and teachable moments
• Asks parents what they do online, such as how often they are online, if you use social networking websites, which social networking websites you use (if you do. It lists MySpace, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other which you can type in your own)
• On average, how often you log into your social networking account (if you said you have one)
• How you typically access your social networking account (if you have one. It lists options such as Android, iPhone, Blackberry, iPad, Desktop or Laptop Computer, etc)
• What you have done on your social networking account in the past week (if you have one)
• If you post status updates about your child on your social networking website
• If your child knows what (Facebook, Twitter, etc) is
• If your child is aware that you have a (Facebook, Twitter, etc) account
• Asks for what your child’s interaction with the social networking websites you selected are (If they have one with or without supervision, if they aren’t allowed to have one, etc)
• If you’re friends with your child on Facebook (if that’s what you selected)
• Talks about if you’re interested in the Club Penguin Facebook app they are making where you can track what your child does, and asks a few questions on what you think of it. It also asks about how much you would be willing to pay each month for the Facebook app. (Whaaa?)

That’s about it! Phew!!

At times it seems to skip right to the end, I do not know why. I said I’ve been playing for over a year in the one question and then it suddenly ends.

Club Penguin Invisible Glitch

I have found an Invisible Glitch. To make it work. Follow these steps below.

• Go to the Cliff Room at the top when you finish the Maze
• Once you are there, finish the clicking part and click on the barrel, but as soon as you click on the Barrel, Click on your Penguin Mail
• Wait 10 seconds then close your Penguin Mail
• Now walk around and you will be Invisible!

NOTE: YOU CAN’T CLICK ON SOMEONE WHEN THEY ARE INVISIBLE!

Penguins That Time Forgot Penguin Poll Bug

Today, while on the Club Penguin Blog, I decided to check the Penguin Poll, the Penguin Poll was “Penguins That Time Forgot” and it says it’s on the stage. It asks what is your favourite penguin, Chester, Kek, Critteroo or Tiki.

But when you go to the Plaza, it shows we have the “Ruby And The Ruby” Stage Right Now!

I can’t believe that Club Penguin doesn’t know that we still have the “Ruby And The Ruby” Stage On and they decided to put this Poll on. What do you think about this?

Club Penguin has released this week’s igloo under the Community Section of the Blog. This week’s Igloo belongs to Rouxinolpink.
