New Club Penguin Hollywood Party 2013 Sneak Peeks

Spike Hike from the Club Penguin Team has tweeted three new sneak peek images of the upcoming Club Penguin Hollywood Party on Twitter! He didn’t say much about them, so we have to infer from what we see in the images. He is obviously on the set of productions. See for yourself!

Very cool! The Club Penguin Hollywood Party 2013 starts on February 14th.

Club Penguin Safer Internet Day 2013

Safer Internet Day is coming up, and in honour of this event Club Penguin has made a blog post and video on the subject of being safe on the internet. Here is Daffodaily5’s post:

As I’m sure many of you already know, the 5th of February is Safer Internet Day! This is a special day that’s organised every year to help teach kids and parents around the world about how to stay safe online.

Seeing as safety’s our number one priority here at Club Penguin, this is an important day for us. Which is why we want to give you all a free laptop item for your penguin – just head over to the Unlock Items page and enter the code ‘STAY SAFE’.

Club Penguin February 2013 Pay Day

Happy February! It’s February 1st, which means one thing only: Pay Day! Club Penguin has started to send out their paychecks for this month to all penguins who are a Tour Guide and/or EPF agent. The amount if the usual 250 coins as a tour guide and 350 as an EPF agent.

Club Penguin Updates Parent Account System

After not touching it since July 2008 when it was first released, Club Penguin has given the manage accounts section a new name (Parent Tools) and a new design! Go to the parents page to login.

Or go to the login page:

When you login you’ll see the penguins on the email address. You can also see your current outfit, last login, bans, penguin age, and more.

You an update the chat mode:

Set login limits:

View payment history:

View connection history:

And finally, you can view the ban history.

While there are little to no new features (and some bugs) compared to the old design, I think this refresh is very nice and much needed.

If you log onto Club Penguin you’ll see there is a new EPF message from Gary! Last week was the first time in a while we did not receive a new EPF message. See for yourself:

This time Gary said the following:

Terrible news! I accidentally fixed the temporal distortion. Things are back to normal. Hopefully I’ll figure out how to break it again someday!
