Along with Club Penguin’s big Marvel Party last night, they also silently released a new feature – the ability to mute all sounds! Not just room music, but all sounds! That means item sounds, spy phone sounds, DJ3K music in igloos, and more.

If you’re a superhero, play the game to collect power crystals.
You use your mouse and move it left and right to touch the crystals. They propel you upwards.
The more you touch in a short period of time, the higher the combo score. Not touching enough crystals makes you fall towards the island.
At the end of each game it tells you how many power crystals you collected.
You need 50,000 to unlock the Hero Hoodie.
Once you reach it you can claim the reward:
Members can get different gloves! They’re unlockable on different days.
You can access the game from the Beach as well as the hero popup.
The Hero HQ is accessible from the cannon at the Beach.
If you’re a villain, you can access the villain lair from the Cove and the Stage/Jail.
Here you can play Robot Factory, in which you assemble robots. Different robots are unlockable on different days.
Assemble robots for a reward by matching the correct pieces to assemble them. Don’t mess up!
Click the crystals when you need to.

Club Penguin has recently released several brand new memberships in stores! They can be found in North America (Canada and the United States) and also the United Kingdom. Availability in other countries is unknown. Let’s jump into what’s new!
The first new membership of these three memberships is a 3 month membership. In addition to getting membership you will get the exclusive Happy Birthday Hat item! The item also does a special dance when you wear it, which is pretty cool.
The second new membership is a one month membership. In addition to receiving membership you will get a Black Puffle and Headphones for it – Dubstep Puffle!
The third and final membership comes in three and sixth month forms. It is a special limited edition Marvel Superhero Takeover membership card.

What’s weird though is if you compare the treasure chest pictures above it shows different items unlocked. However, you do get all the items. Club Penguin Support also failed to mention you getting the Red Cape and Black Mask as shown in the picture below, so they may be a little incorrect in their information. I do not know for sure, I’m just mentioning everything I know!

Almost a year ago I posted screenshots of the unreleased Card-Jitsu mobile app. The application was first mentioned as coming soon in July 2011, but it has never been released. Could the release of the app be coming soon? It seems likely, as a company specialising in design called MetaLab lists Card-Jitsu for iOS as one of their projects, and even included two pictures. In 2012, we worked with Disney to create several iPhone apps belonging to the Club Penguin franchise. Most significantly, we created an app for Card Jitsu, which required designing not only within the MMORPG’s existing style, but for an audience of young users that required intuitive simplicity and fun.
They said several…what other Club Penguin apps did they work on? Puffle Launch? My Penguin? Others too? Do you think this app is still going to be released some day?
It’s been a year since I first brought the My Penguin app to the public’s attention. Spike Hike has been teasing photos of it recently, and now he’s finally revealed it to the world via the Club Penguin Blog! The My Penguin app is an iPad only application that will be available for free starting the 9th of May – so if you have an iPad, mark your calendar! Here’s a photo of the application’s main screen:
