Club Penguin at iKids Conference 2012

On February 6, 2012, Club Penguin will be making a presentation at the iKids conference in the Hilton Hotel (in New York). The conference will run from 8AM to 5PM, and Club Penguin will have their presentation between 2:45PM and 3:30PM. Below is a quick screenshot of the conference schedule for the day:

I doubt any Club Penguin bloggers will be attending the conference as it’s a Monday and during the schoolday. The price to attend is $1695, which is a bit much. It’s nice that Disney Club Penguin is becoming more involved in the real world, especially in New York. I believe this is their third event in New York City, with the first time being their third anniversary in Time Square, and the second time being Billybob and Rockhopper in New York.

Club Penguin Coins for Change 2011 Cheats

Coins for Change 2011 is finally here! You can donate in a number of different rooms, such as the Forest, Plaza, Town, Snow Fort, and Beach.

Just as before, you can donate to one of three purposes: Build Safe Places, Protect the Earth, and Provide Medical Help.

Rockhopper in New York City

Club Penguin announced a virtual coat drive to help support families in need across America. On Friday, December 2 2011, Club Penguin will be hosting a coat drive in Time Square on December 2, 2011! The first 300 to donate a coat will receive a free penguin plush. Billybob (Lane Merrifield) will be there, along with Rockhopper. Here are the event details:

• When: Friday December 2 8:00am EST
• Where: Good Morning America Studios – Times Square, New York
• What to bring: a real coat to donate to the Warm Coats Warm Hearts campaign

Club Penguin Sleet Server Glitching

As of writing at 5:12 PM Eastern Standard Time, Club Penguin is experiencing some difficulties on the server Sleet. All other servers seem to be operating properly. Upon logging into the Sleet server, every penguin will appear blue.

There also seems to be a problem with the server clock, as penguins appear to be above 10000+ days old!

In addition to the clothing and age glitch, penguins will appear to have 0 coins. While attempting to call the Club Penguin support hotline earlier, I was greeted with an error message “we are currently experiencing technical issues”. It is rumored that the server has been taken over by hackers, although that has yet to be verified. We will be updating this post as more information becomes available.

Update 5:16 PM EST – The server appears to have only 1 bar, but appears as ‘Full’ if you attempt to join.

Update 5:35 PM EST – The server sleet seems to be working for me now. We have not yet been told what the reason for this issue was. We are waiting for a clarification from the Club Penguin Team (although I highly think they will tell us anything relevant).

Update – The problem has now been resolved, if you did login on during this period, when you login you will see your penguin as blue, but as soon as you log onto a server, you will be normal.

Club Penguin Card Jitsu Party Login Screen

Club Penguin has released a new login screen. This time to announce the new Card-Jitsu party on November 24th where all penguins will be able to play the Fire and Water games

This is great! It gives non-member penguins an opportunity to see what it’s like playing both the Fire and Water games.

Club Penguin Membership Page Updated October 2011

Club Penguin has updated the membership page for October 2011! – It mainly talks about puffles hats!

This month, October will include:

• Be the first to style your pet with all new Puffle Hats from the Puffle Catalog
• Enter the Dark Chamber if you dare … and claim your slimy prize
• Get the new Halloween costumers – from headless horsemen to unicorns
• And coming in November: Prepare for an epic Card-Jitsu Party and tournament!

Club Penguin Series 14 Treasure Book Cheats

Club Penguin has just released the Series 14 Treasure Book! Take a look at the catalog. You can check this treasure book by going to the Gift Shop. (This is the first time Club Penguin has done this!)

Club Penguin Fall Fair 2011 Safe Chat Messages

As I was on Club Penguin, I decided to say something from the safe chat. As I opened it, I noticed that they have added the Fall Fair messages. I think Club Penguin decided to add them early just to be ahead, and make sure there weren’t any bugs on the messages for the Fall Fair party due that is coming in the next few days. To see the messages, click on the  “Messages” picture, on the chat bar on the bottom. Then, find the messages that says, “Fall Fair” click on that, and you should see all the Fall Fair safe chat messages.
