Hello Penguins!

Gary is going to a Mad Scientist Convention and he wants you to be there! Put on your best MAD SCIENTIST costume — whatever that means to you — and meet Gary inside the University on Tuesday October 29th at 4 PM Penguin Standard Time (we will let you know the server by 3:30).

A Mad Scientist Convention is a big deal — it might even be in an upcoming episode of #WaddleOn!

Daffodaily5 has a message for all UK Residents who like to draw and/or wish to become a member on Club Penguin. Here’s what she had to say:

Hiya!

So you like monsters, huh? Well SO DO I! It’s one of the many reasons I totes love Halloween. Which is why I was so excited to hear from our magazine team when they told me they’re running a wicked competition for all our super talented artists in the UK. Intrigued? Yup, I was too.

Basically, it goes like this; find the Make-a-Monster Contest page in the latest issue of the UK CP mag (psssst! It’s page 15!) and draw your very own monster creation! When you’re happy with your scary sketch, ask your parents to send it over to the team (using the details at the bottom of the page) and you will be in for a chance to win a 12 month membership! Ace!

October 17th’s Penguin of the Day is Earthing! Here’s what todays POTD did:

Earthing loves Card-Jitsu so much that he’s always trying to arrange parties with his buddies around the island for Snow, Fire and Water! I love seeing the sky change with different ninjas in the room. What’s your favourite? Comment below!

Club Penguin Halloween Party 2013 Cheats

Club Penguin’s Halloween Party is now out! When you first log on Rookie will talk to you.

After that you can start trick or treating around the island! To do that simply walk up to one of the giant pumpkins surrounded by candy.

You then pick 3 candies.

After that it’ll tell you how many candies you have been rewarded.

If you find a cursed candy as a bonus it’ll notify you, too. Cursed candies are for transformations, which is members only.

To transform click the icon in the top right then select which candy you have and want to transform into.

You can also trick or trick in igloos. Members need to place the special jack-o’-lantern from the furniture catalogue in their igloo.

To have your igloo open on the list you need to do it.

Once that’s done you’ll see yourself on the list.

After you trick or treat at a pumpkin you have to wait a little while before going to that one again. Luckily there’s many around the island!

Candies are used instead of coins to get items from the special party catalogue.

Rookie is visiting and has a new background.

There are also six special emotes.

This party is amazing!

Club Penguin Answers Frequently Asked Questions

Club Penguin Support receives many questions every day! Some questions are more commonly asked than others. Some have been so common that Polo Field posted the answers to a few of them on the blog! Here’s the questions and answers he posted:

Q. For the Halloween Party, will Gary also visit, because he usually does for this party
A. This Halloween, Gary is taking it easy and spending time in his lab. He’ll probably watch Night of the Living Sled a couple of times, but otherwise he’ll be busy with science! Who knows what he’ll come up with this time.

Q. Will any of the old quests/ Haunted mansion/ Ghostmatron return?
A. No, we’re going to have new Halloween areas to explore and a big focus on penguins’ own haunted igloos. Plus, the mysterious Spectral Sweets is providing the candy, and they have some very “unique” flavors.

Q. Any news regarding the EPF?
A. The EPF is always busy keeping CP safe. Their number one priority right now is making sure Herbert hasn’t snuck back onto the island somehow.

Q. Who is Garianna and what was the secret ingredient?
A. Garianna is one of Gary’s ancestors. The illustrious inventor comes from a long line of clever penguins. Gariwald and Garugg the Ugg Ugg are also a part of that family tree. And for those that missed it at the end of the Medieval Party, Garianna’s secret ingredient was a golden Puffle O. Why she had such a strange food is still a mystery PH and Gary are very interested in.
