Club Penguin has released a short 30 second trailer advertising the Penguin Cup, this month’s party. The Penguin Cu pbegins June 19th and ends July 1st. Here it is:

Along with Club Penguin’s major updates this week there have also been a few minor ones. On the first of the month it was Pay Day. Tour Guides received 250 coins and EPF agents received 350 coins.
There’s a new login and logoff screen advertising the 2014 Penguin Cup.
Finally, the featured postcards have been updated.
Spike Hike has today published a post on the Club Penguin blog that gives a reason for his inactivity in recent weeks due to new projects coming to Club Penguin soon! Here’s what the GM of Club Penguin had to say:
Hey Penguins, if you haven’t heard from me as much recently, its because I’ve been working on something super secret that has been taking a lot of my time. It’s the Next Big Thing for CP and beyond… and we’re really excited about it! Hopefully we can show you a sneak peak in the next few months.I’m also taking some new things on. I will now be overseeing all of Disney Mobile Games in addition to Club Penguin and Project: Super Secret. It’s all a work-in-progress, but you will be able to see some of the new things we are working on at http://www.disney.com/games.With all that’s going on you may be hearing from me a little less often – but don’t worry! I’m still around and will always be Spike Hike! CP is a very special community that I am thankful to be a part of every day. I will still be doing Spike meetups, but around events and on a less regular basis.I want to thank you all for letting me be a part of your childhood and by doing so, to get to be a kid again myself. And as a parent, it has been a special family bond to share CP with my three penguins at home, so our family thanks you, too.This is not by any means goodbye! Firstly, Hi all! – It’s been a while since I’ve posted however I’ve been extremely busy and I’m glad that Trainman1405 and Zach have been here to keep you updated!
Disney has recently set a new plan to promote Club Penguin even more and it involves having a free 30-day membership trial with extra bonuses! – They’ve setup a few domains recently tryclubpenguin.com, clubpenguintv.com and getclubpenguin.com websites which are put in place to advertise about this great 30-day free membership trial. All that’s required is a credit card in order to get the free membership, although it must be noted, the card would be charged if it wasn’t cancelled before the free membership trial expires.
The trial provides you bonuses, which is a Beach Party Igloo, 5,000 virtual coins and 25 free furniture items! – I sure wish I had this back when I started Club Penguin, this is fantastic!
The offer to get a free membership began on May 27th and is open until July 6, 2014. You are able to get this if you haven’t had a membership within 90 days.
You’ll also notice a few things different to what we currently have on Club Penguin. The ‘?’ icon in the video indicates player details if you are a Moderator and also the video shows the Old Spy Phone still! – do you know it was May 2010 that the blue spy phone was replaced! – 4 years ago and they still have it!

It’s that time again! Time to announce the winner of Penguin of the Week! And it goes toooo [drum roll]… Trisher2! This penguin has a keen eye for design. Not only has he made practically every igloo imaginable, including pirate caves, aquariums and fashion shows, but he also likes to match his igloo to his outfits. I don’t know about you, but I think that’s pretty impressive! Check out that epic multicoloured outfit! 🙂

Uh-oh! The Protobot is in Outer Space and trying to destroy Club Penguin! You need to destroy him.
You destroy Protobot simply throw snowballs at him like you do with the meteors. There is a time limit on the left and on the top is Protobot’s health meter. You need to fully drain that meter.
Here’s what happens once he is defeated:
He will blow up and nonmembers and members can collect their prize(s).
