Club Penguin App Released On Android and Updated To Version 1.5.4 on iOS

I have great news for those of you with an Android device! Club Penguin’s app is now officially available! You can download it here.

Along with that, Club Penguin has also released a minor update to their iOS app. Version 1.5.4 features enhancements to the app to make the Merry Walrus Party and Coins For Change run smoothly.

The app has a temporary holiday icon, too:

The Making of “We Wish You A Merry Walrus” (Part 2)

The second part of the making of Club Penguin’s We Wish You a Merry Walrus has been released today and looks more into the puppets used, the company behind the work and how long it takes to make a stop-motion animation!

Here’s another behind-the-scenes sneak peek of Club Penguin’s new holiday special, “We Wish You A Merry Walrus”.

We asked the team in the UK to show you guys how they create stop-motion animation. From creating puppets, to sewing costumes, to lighting, to building huge sets… there’s a lot involved! And that’s not even counting the actual animation part. 😉

Club Penguin Meetup With Portuguese Moderator Gajotz

Tomorrow, Saturday December 6th at 6:00 AM PST Gajotz from Club Penguin’s Portuguese blog will be hosting a Club Penguin meetup.

This meetup’s focus is Puffles, so be sure to take yours with you! The meetup room is the Puffle Park and the meetup server is the Portuguese server Deu Branco. If you’re attending I hope you have a great time!

Club Penguin has a holiday special called We Wish You a Merry Walrus premiering on Disney Channel UK later this month. To get us hyped for it Club Penguin made a behind the scenes making of video, in which the team talks about it and also gives us a few sneak peeks of the animated special. Here’s part 1:

Puffle Wild Available on iOS

The anticipated Puffle Wild game for iOS has been released! It features gameplay similar to Candy Crush Saga!

Here’s the promo video released by Club Penguin with a pretty neat song about the Unicorn Puffle!

Merry Walrus Mini-Party Parade 2014

Another Mini-Party has been released on Club Penguin and this time it’s a wonderful parade that starts from the Ski Village and travels all across the Island!

There are no free items to pick up, though you will be able to meet some Club Penguin Moderators enjoying the parade, too!

Club Penguin December 2014 Sneak Peek

This is going to be a very busy month for Club Penguin! Along with a new spin on the December party there will be new apps and a TV special! Check out all the details below, courtesy of Polo Field’s post on the Club Penguin Blog:

1. Merry Walrus and Coins For Change!
To celebrate all kinds of traditions around the world, there’s a brand new Club Penguin holiday this year. It’s the first annual Merry Walrus Party and everyone will get an exclusive first-edition hat! Of course, Coins For Change will be part of this historic event, so save those coins…

2. Club Penguin on Android™ Devices
You heard it here first—the Club Penguin app will arrive on the Google Play Store™ Dec. 18, with the Merry Walrus Party and Coins For Change. That’s right—parties will be available on Android, too. Nice, hey?

3. Puffle Wild on iPad and iPhone!
The wait is over… Puffle Wild will be available on iPad and iPhone devices around the world on Dec. 4. Thanks to everyone who helped us geo-beta test the app in Australia and New Zealand! We’ll also be releasing a crazy music video next week. Be prepared to meet Glitterpants! 😀

4. New TV Holiday Special Coming Soon
This one is HUGE: we’ve collaborated with Disney Interactive Labs to bring the Club Penguin story to TV for the first time… with a new holiday-themed special! The show will premiere on Disney Channel later this month. Of course, we’ll be posting some sneak peeks, air times, and an exclusive “making of” video right here on the blog. Stay tuned for more!

Club Penguin Spanish Moderator of the Month Meetup With Oliva Dina

Tomorrow on December 2nd the Spanish Club Penguin Team will be having a Moderator of the Month meetup! During the meetup one of Club Penguin’s many moderators will waddle around and hang out with other players. This month the moderator is Oliva Dina.

It’s at 11:00 AM PST on the Spanish server Aletas con ritmo at the Lighthouse/El Faro. The meetup time in PST translates to 1:00 PM for Mexico City and 8:00 PM for Spain. Have fun at the meetup!
