Minor Club Penguin Updates – February 5, 2015

There have been three minor updates on Club Penguin this week. The first one you’ll notice is when logging in. There is now a login screen to advertise the SoundStudio Party that begins in two weeks.

The second update is Pay Day, which happened on the first of February. EPF agents received 350 coins and tour guides received 250 coins.

The final minor update is the featured postcards. The selection has now been updated with five “new” ones you can send to others.

ClubHerbert.com Updated, Headphones From Merry Walrus Thrown Away

For the first time in a while Club Penguin has updated their ClubHerbert.com website. Now an image is displayed of the headphones Herbert received from Merry Walrus….in the trash bin.

As you might recall, he received the headphones in the We Wish You a Merry Walrus television special.

Why do you think Herbert threw them out? Will he not like the SoundStudio party?

Club Penguin Moderator Ninja Has Deleted His Twitter Account

Although he never tweeted much, Ninja completely stopped tweeting last Fall when the Club Penguin Team left their Twitter accounts. As it turns out, Ninja recently signed back in to Twitter…to delete his account. Now when you try to visit the Ninjachat3 profile page it says the page no longer exists.

Club Penguin SoundStudio Party Coming This Month

The current issue of the Club Penguin Times revealed that SoundStudio will soon be a mobile app, and as it turns out this month’s party will be a SoundStudio Party! It’s going to be a mixture of a Music Jam and Hollywood Party. Here’s a sneak peek of a room at the party. Looks really flashy!

The SoundStudio party will likely begin on the 20th of February.

Club Penguin Blog: Use The Force With Chattabox!

Chattabox has announced the details for her weekly Thursday (Wednesday for some) meetup on Club Penguin! Here’s her blog post containing all of the details:

G’Day Penguins,

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away… Chattabox was planning a totally awesome ‘out of this snow-capped world’ Star Wars Rebels™ Takeover igloo party!

That’s right flippered friends, to celebrate just how EPIC this takeover has been, I am holding a celebration party in my iggy. I’m in the middle of fixing up my igloo so it’s totally Star Wars Rebels themed — and I will be planning an outfit that any Rebel would be proud of! So come along in your favourite Star Wars Rebels inspired outfit, bring along your lightsabers, and watch out for any Storm Troopers!

Let’s meet in the Forest on the Down Under server on Thursday 5th February. Here are the times:

Club Penguin February 2, 2015 Mod Meetup With Megg

Megg has announced the details for this week’s mod meetup, and it actually features her! It’s happening at 2:00 PM PST, which is 5:00 PM EST/10:00 PM GMT. Here’s the details. Do you like the new graphic they made for mod meetups? I do!

Club Penguin Puffle Wild Updated To Version 1.2.0

On Friday a new version of Club Penguin’s Puffle Wild app was released. The new and current version is 1.2.0. Aside from featuring the usual bug fixes and performance optimisations, there are also two new features.

As long as you’re on version 1.2.0 or greater you can set puffles free and also use your blue crystal puffle in-game as long as you have one.

Puffle Wild is currently only available on iOS but is expected to come to Android later this year.
