Here is something that is probably going to shock you.
At one time during Coin for Change, you probably have wondered where the $1,000,000 came from. The truth is that it came from our membership money. Club Penguin earns approximately $100,000,000 a year. All they have to do is take somewhat less than $1 from each member.
As some of you might recall, they claim to be giving away Membership fees, apart from the Coin for Change money, which is not true. Although it is a great thing they are donating to charity, it isn’t so good to say something that is not true, and I am not trying to make Club Penguin look bad.
For those of you who didn’t know already, the amount of coins you donate to Coin for Change doesn’t affect the total amount of money donated, it affects the amount of money that goes into each organization. If you decide to call Club Penguin, they will deny it because a) it would make their business look bad and b) Disney’s stock will plunge.
