Club Penguin Reviewed By You: Favourite Event

Posted by Trainman1405 on March 16, 2012 under Other Stuff | Comments Off on Club Penguin Reviewed By You: Favourite Event

Happy77 has posted an all new reviewed by you on the Club Penguin Blog once again. Last time she asked us what our favourite Puffle colour is, and Michele50 said:

My favorite puffle is the orange puffle because I think it reminds us just to lay back and have fun! Also, I think the orange puffle can bring something happy and entertaining to someone that has maybe had a bad day and needs something funny to cheer them up. I currently have two orange puffles and they definitely cheer me up when I’m in a bad mood. The last thing is, they are the kind of puffle that isn’t afraid to show who they are, even if some embarrassing things are part of their personality (drooling on the pillow comes to mind) and I think that’s a good message not only for me, but for other kids around the world. I love Orange Puffles and Waddle On!

This week’s question is “What’s your favorite Club Penguin event of all time?”

Tips for finding the Puffle Handler on your own – There are a few things to keep in mind when looking for PH on your own. Below, we have outlined some of the useful things to know while tracking the mascots:

  • Track the popular servers – Mascots will always appear on the popular servers at some point in time. These popular servers include Mammoth, Abominable, Blizzard, Frozen, Sleet, among many others. One common strategy is to wait in the town of the server until the mascot appears. While this often works, it is very time consuming. If you do not have as much time, we recommend you refresh our tracker once every few minutes for the latest location.
  • Check the popular rooms – mascots often go to rooms such as the Dock, Town, Plaza, Beach, and the Ice Berg. They may occasionally appear in other rooms as well, although it is less likely. PH likes to hang out in Puffle related rooms the most
  • Look for abnormal server population – If a server that is typically 1 bar suddenly has 5 bars, it is likely that the mascot is currently on that server. Log into that server and check the popular rooms.
  • Form a search party – They always say two heads are better than one. What if you have even more than two heads? It’s often a good idea to form search parties where everyone looks through a certain set of servers, and share the location with each other once they see a mascot. We have provided a chat, so everyone can form search parties easily!
  • Check during peak hours – The mascots tend to appear more on weekends, and during times when there is a large number of penguins playing Club Penguin. During the weekdays, this time is typically from 1PM PST until 10PM PST.
  • Join our tracker chat – People in our chat are working together to find the Puffle, so joining our chat may help lead you to the mascot’s location!

Do you have any other tips for tracking the mascots? If you do, leave a comment and let us know! Until then, happy tracking!

Returning Items:

  • Knotted Recycle Shirt (will be called Knotted Recycle T-Shirt
  • African Painted Dog Costume (400 coins instead of 50 coins)
  • Snow Leopard Costume (400 coins instead of 50 coins)
Unreleased
  • Safari Helmet (free, for everyone)

  • Lion Costume (members, costs 400 coins)
  • Rock-hopper Costume (members, costs 400 coins)

Which item are you looking forward to the most?

Protobot To Be Meetable On Club Penguin In The Future?

Posted by Trainman1405 on March 15, 2012 under Other Stuff | 1 Comment »

While doing my weekly routine check through Club Penguin’s files, I saw that they gave the Protobot a penguin ID – why would they do that? They only do that if a mascot is meetable, or will be meetable sometime in the future. If you look in the image below, you’ll see that Protobot does indeed have a single ID listed.

Why would Club Penguin do that? Will he be meetable for something in the neat future? If so, what for?

Club Penguin Puffle Handler Background & Stamp

Posted by Trainman1405 on March 15, 2012 under Other Stuff | Comments Off on Club Penguin Puffle Handler Background & Stamp

The Puffle Handler is now an official mascot on Club Penguin! Because of this she now has a stamp and background. However, when Club Penguin added the stamp they accidentally removed Stompin’ Bob’s stamp!

The stamp:

Club Penguin Blog Puffle Handler Sneak Peek

Posted by Trainman1405 on March 14, 2012 under Other Stuff | 3 Comments »

With the Puffle Party being just over 24 hours away, Happy77 has given us a sneak peek and information about the Puffle Handler!

You might recall meeting PH in the first ever Elite Penguin Force Nintendo DS game, who trained the Elite Puffles.

Here are some facts about PH:

  • She changed her penguin color after discovering the first brown puffle in the wilderness!
  • She helped redesign the Pet Shop to make it more exciting for puffles!
  • Favourite Item: Puffle Whistle
  • Favourite Food: O’berries
  • Favourite Game: Puffle Paddle

Two New Games Coming To Club Penguin?

Posted by Trainman1405 on March 10, 2012 under Other Stuff | 8 Comments »

Today in Club Penguin’s file I found something interesting. Here’s a little sample of what I saw:

The full thing on what I saw:

{“room_id”:924,”room_key”:””,”name”:”Game24″,”display_name”:”Game24″,”music_id”:0,”is_member”:0,”path”:””,”max_users”:80,”jump_enabled”:false,”jump_disabled”:true,”required_item”:null,”short_name”:””},”925″:{“room_id”:925,”room_key”:””,”name”:”Game25″,”display_name”:”Game25″,”music_id”:0,”is_member”:0,”path”:””,”max_users”:80,”jump_enabled”:false,”jump_disabled”:true,”required_item”:null,”short_name”:””}

Basically, Club Penguin has two new games coming soon! As of right now there isn’t anything else I know other than that – I don’t know what they’ll be called, if they will have stamps, where they will be located, etc. Once I know more information I’ll be sure to post about it. Really, all I know is that there will be two new games and are playable by members and nonmembers, as of now. There may or may not be members only levels. What do you think these games will be about? Leave a comment letting us know!
