Story Behind the Rockhopper Bot

Is Rockhopper controlled by a real person or a bot? We will never know, so we might as well as guess. I managed to get a picture of the interface used by moderators to control Rockhopper. Here’s a picture.

This has a 99% chance of being real. Here, the moderator can choose from a selection of phrases. Of course, they often give shoutout to people, which shows they have the ability to type their own text as well. However, does this mean that all of the mascots are operated by a live person? This picture shows the mascots are definitely controlled by a human being at one point or another. I think there might be bots controlling the penguins as well.

    Yeah Rockhopper shouted at me once cuz when i said Rockhopper tell us a story! And then he said A STORY?

    He just says the same thing over and over again..its rlly weird..i kept finding him 2 yrs ago but now its impossible to find him..
