Mountain Expedition Secret Room – Yeti’s Cave?

Posted by Tech163 on August 16, 2010 under Other Stuff

Yesterday, Jimbobson left a comment (here) on this site talking about the possibility of there being someone else in Club Penguin: a yeti. He talked about the possibility of the secret room belonging to the Yeti, instead of Herbert. I definitely think this is possible, and here are the evidences, many provided by Jimbobson.

Contrary to what we said 2 days ago, Herbert’s Lair may look a bit different. A few months back, Club Penguin gave us a few pictures of what is very likely to be Herbert’s Lair:

Herbert's Lair

If you look closely at the first picture, there are fish next to the red chair on the top. It makes some level of sense, considering that Herbert’s a vegetarian and doesn’t eat fish, while the Yeti may or may not eat fish. Another factor is the temperature of this mountain. The fact that Herbert dislikes cold weather while Yeti does also contributes to the possibility of the place belonging to Yeti. Regarding the location, the Great Snow Maze took place at the Ski Village as well, possibly leading directly to that room.

Do you think the secret room belongs to Yeti or Herbert? Now, I’m leaning a bit more towards Yeti. What about you?

I did a post with proof that it is not Herbert. I think it’s a yeti too. Great proof!

I has to be Herbert’s. Why would a Yeti like candles, slippers and fish? Why would a Yeti like candles and lights? Herbert likes it warm.

Im still going with bigfoot. But Ive been wondering,is bigfoot related to yeti’s?I think its either bigfoot’s hideout, yeti’s hideout,or The Sensei’s trapped inside.

Huge thanks for posting my theory! In reply to Arhsj, the candles would provide light for such a dark Cave, a candle as small as that would not be able to provide enough heat for Herbert anyway. A Yeti would like fish as it would probably be the best supply of food, since we know Herbert is a vegetarian, he would have no need for fish.
Herbert wanted to turn CP into a warmer, tropical like island. He didn’t like CP the way it was, he wanted to set fire to the Ski Lodge just for a fire to keep warm, so the candles would not provide much heat at all.
As for the Slippers, they too would not provide enough heat for such a large Polar Bear such as Herbert. Yeti’s live in icy, cold conditions and are said to live in the Mountains.
Nothing is 100% confirmed yet, I just believe that this Cave does belong to a Yeti and not Herbert, but all we can do is wait!
    Thanks.

Maybe it is a Viking’s Room because the boat looks like a Viking’s boat.
