After months of work, the Rocketsnail team has completed the first book in the Mech Mice series! The Miller Brothers has done a great job creating the story based on the Mech Mice universe. The book contains a total of 21 chapters, in addition to a prologue and epilogue. It has a total of 300 pages, with over 55.000 words. The book will be available for purchase on Amazon in just a few weeks, so stay tuned for that! As always, we will let you know as soon as the book is out, so you will be able to purchase it. Here’s a quick Q&A with rsnail, who is in charge of Mech Mice development at Rocketsnail.

But why did you write a book before developing the game?

The book project forced us to explore the Mech Mice universe. We now have a clear vision for the Mech Mice history, locations, characters, technology, and cultures.

What’s next for the RocketSnail?

Now that the book is complete, the RocketSnail team is busy working on the Mech Mice game.

Are you excited for the Mech Mice game? I believe it will be released sometime later this year, and I can’t wait!

The Miller Brothers (those who are writing the Mech Mice story) have returned from Andorra, and wrote the final chapter of the Mech Mice story. Cale has been at the CTN Expo in Burbank California. Screenhog has been composing music and researching Unity shaders. Today, we have a picture of a Mech Mice Simulation Room. Take a look here:

The Rocketsnail team has posted a 3D rendering of a Mech Mice Character. Take a look here:

As previously mentioned, the game will not be released for a while. Looking at the current previews, are you excited? What are you looking forward the most? Let us know in the comments!

Over the last few weeks, the Rocketsnail team has posted numerous Mech Mice comics. These comics were created by Dapper Dan, who was hired by the Rocketsnail team. Here are 3 of his comics which Rocketsnail has posted in chronological order:

What do you think? Do you like these comics? Would you read a full-length comic based on the Mech Mice Universe? Would you watch a Mech Mice animated series on YouTube? Leave a comment and let us know!

Did you miss Rocketsnail’s homepage on September 19? The background featured a Pirate Snail, created by Cale. It is in honor of “Talk like a pirate day” and the launch of the new RocketSnail website. Take a look:

For those who do not know, Rocketsnail is the team behind creating the game Mech Mice. Do you like the pirate snail design? Are you excited for the Mech Mice game release? Let us know!

Screenhog has made a video with the rest of the Mech Mice team to let us know about what they’ve been up to lately with Mech Mice. Here is the video:

In the game, you can control multiple players at once. You will be controlling an entire squad. You will have the ability to shoot at things. As you can see in the video, Chris (the writer) is currently working on Chapter 9. Cale is currently working on an illustration for an illustration in the book. You should watch the video for more information.

Are you looking forward to the game? Are you looking forward to the book? Which are you more excited for? Let us know!

Some of us are wondering where chapter 5 for Mech Mice is. Screenhog has been busy working on the latest prototype, and another video will be available next week. Cale has been working on lots of illustrations, notably a “bar fight” illustration. Rsnail himself has been working on a new RocketSnail website.

With regards to chapter 5, the Mech Mice team has decided to make a change to chapters 1-5. All the chapters will be reposted for all to read. Many of Mech Mice’s female fans did not like Magenta, so the team decided to rewrite her character and make her Ziro’s lieutenant (second in command).

Do you think that’s a good thing to change? Do you think the story would be better that way? Let us know in the comments!

The Mech Mice team has updated with the concept of illustrations for the Mech Mice Book. Take a look:

The image above is the concept illustration for the Mech Mice story. The book will be available for sale this fall. Until then, a new chapter will be given away every month! Here is what we have so far:

Cale (who is one of the designers of Mech Mice) has been sketching Demo’s Mech Suit. Below is a quick gallery of his illustrations of Demo’s Mech Suit. Cale typically sketches each with a red or blue pen, then with a darker pen for the details. Here it is:

What do you think? Even though it’ll be around 2 years before Mech Mice is completed, I can’t wait! Are you excited for it? Let us know!
