Hey Tinkas, Tinkatolli has updated the sign up page. It now lets you know if there’s a spot for you on the game by searching through the names.
Tinkatolli started in development around 2007 and in 2008 the TinkaMaker (online) was brought to life (under development). The TinkaMaker came online officially in 2010. Since then the team has been working incredibly hard to get Tinkatolli the way it is going today. The HQ (Kevin, Luke, Pennie & Konrad) started to give prizes to tinkas who won Tinka of the Week with a T-shirt with their Tinka on it, since they were in the development of Tinkatolli. In the 6th December 2010, the first batch of people that signed up were given the amazing opportunity to play the magical game of Tinkatolli. Tinkatolli started inviting Tinkas each month, inviting more and more, allowing tinkas to Think, Move, Give & Make (online and offline) and be awarded for what you do generally! Since then, Tinkas have been helping the HQ with bugs, testing out games, features, the scrapbook, badges, makeables, bugs, glitches and so much more. When invitations began to be sent to tinkas, the Tinka of the Week was then based on the most amount of votes, then on being in the top 30 Tinkas of that week, where you would be able to get the chance to play Tinkatolli with a friend if you won. Kickstarter was a big thing towards Tinkatolli and was announced on June 8th 2011. This is where Tinkatolli needed our help, they had been running and developing for several years and their source fund was almost gone. We could change that by contributing money on the Kickstarter website for prizes before Open Beta, there were a range of things on offer – memberships, limited edition posters, postcards (signed) (both) and there target goal was $30,000 .Within the first few days it proved that Tinkatolli was worth it all, and they managed at the end of the month on July 8th to reach $30,218! – It was fantastic! – The goal was reached and it was a big hit to Tinkatolli and that had helped them get out of Tinkatolli’s final stages out of private beta. After all those years of continuous hard work by the HQ, the meetings and discussions abroad and the Tinkas testing out the game, Tinkatolli is now in Open Beta! On behalf of the Tinkatolli Tricks team and all the Tinkas we would like to give the staff a Tinkatastic thank-you for creating Tinkatolli, the most amazing, creative virtual world ever made!
