Hey Tinkas,

Tinkatolli has just announced the Tinka with this week’s awesomest pad in the virtual game of Tinkatolli. This week we congratulate Shadow Claw who has won 150 seeds for winning the contest!

Well done Shadow Claw! His pad is Tinkatastic, don’t you think? Very organised and original! Anyhow, good luck to everyone else next week!

Happy Tinkering 🙂

Earth Hour Tinkas Posted!

Hey Tinkas,

Tinkatolli has already chosen some Earth Hour Tinkas made in the Tinka Challenge they announced last week, made to raise awareness, and posted them on their official blog!

The Earth Hour Tinkas are looking amazing, don’t you think? They’re very earthy. You can see my Tinka in the picture too, it’s in the bottom left!

Congratulations to all you Tinkas and thank-you Tinkatolli! I can’t wait for the next Tinka Challenge.  🙂

Tinka Of The MonDAY Announced!

Hey Tinkas,

Tinkatolli has just announced the new Tinka Of The Day! Congratulations to RetroReactive and his Tinka, “Earth Hour”

His Tinka is awesome, especially since he made just to raise awareness for Earth Hour in Tinkatolli’s Tinka Challenge, last week! 🙂

TinkaTolli Tricks goes BLACK for 1 hour – Earth Hour!

Tinkatolli Tricks will be helping the environment by making the website black for 1 hour. This event will be happening on the 26th March 2011  – 8:30 PM until 9:30 PM after that the website colours will return to normal.

We are doing this as changing a website background to black saves watts and energy for the environment. Here’s a quote:

Image displayed is primarily a function of the user’s color settings and desktop graphics, as well as the color and size of open application windows; a given monitor requires more power to display a white (or light) screen than a black (or dark) screen.

Before the hour you could use Blackle.com, instead of Google. It’s the same as Google, however, giving you the same results in black and less white, saving watts & energy.

What are you Tinkas doing to celebrate Earth Hour?
