Lots of people (including myself) had difficulty navigating through Chapter 5 in Pottermore. It is in chapter 5 where we get a shopping list and have to buy everything on the list. This level can get quite tricky.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

To begin with, in ‘Arriving at Diagon Alley’, you will have to pick up your shopping list.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

To collect your shopping list, double click in the middle of the screen and you will see a shopping list. Simply click on it to collect it.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Now you will have the ability to proceed to ‘Harry and Hagrid Visit Gringotts’.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

After you click out of that message, you will see a key and a lock. Drag the key to the lock and use it to unlock the lock.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

You will receive 500 Galleons for shopping. You should then proceed to Diagon Alley.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Once in Diagon Alley, you will have to start shopping. At any time, your shopping list can be accessed from the upper right corner of your screen.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

To begin with on the left side, you will find ‘Potage’s Cauldron Shop’. Within the shop, you will purchase a cauldron (listed second under ‘Other Equipments’).<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

If I recall correctly, you will need to buy the Pewter Cauldron for 15 galleons.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Continuing on the left, you will find ‘Apothecary’. I don’t think you need anything from that store.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Moving further away, you will find ‘Wiseacre’s Wizarding Equipment’. Within the store, you will need to purchase the Brass Scales, Brass Telescope, and Glass Phials.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

On the right side, you will find ‘Flourish and Blotts’. Inside, you will be able to by the ‘Set Books’.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The store has 8 books, and you will need to buy them all.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Third from the right, you will find the ‘Eeylops Owl Emporium & Magical Menagerie’.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Inside that store, you will have the opportunity to choose a pet. You can choose either an owl, cat, or toad.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Now that you’ve unlocked ‘Diagon Alley South Side’, you can visit ‘Ollivanders: Makers of Fine Wands since 382 BC’.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Now, you will be able to proceed to ‘Diagon Alley South Side’, so go there to retrieve your wand.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Once you are at the South side, proceed to the ‘Ollivanders’.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Inside the Olivanders, you will be given 7 questions. The answers to those 7 questions will be used to choose your wand.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Upon completion of the\u00a0questionnaire, you will be offered a wand. The wand will cost you 7 galleons to purchase.<\/p>\n

Congratulations! You have completed the Chapter 5 walkthrough!<\/p>\n
