As of writing at 5:12 PM Eastern Standard Time, Club Penguin is experiencing some difficulties on the server Sleet. All other servers seem to be operating properly. Upon logging into the Sleet server, every penguin will appear blue.<\/p>\n

There also seems to be a problem with the server clock, as penguins appear to be above 10000+ days old!<\/p>\n

In addition to the clothing and age glitch, penguins will appear to have 0 coins.\u00a0While attempting to call the Club Penguin support hotline earlier, I was greeted with an error message “we are currently experiencing technical issues”. It is rumored that the server has been taken over by hackers, although that has yet to be verified.\u00a0We will be updating this post as more information becomes available.<\/p>\n

Update 5:16 PM EST – The server appears to have only 1 bar, but appears as ‘Full’ if you attempt to join.<\/p>\n

Update 5:35 PM EST – The server sleet seems to be working for me now. We have not yet been told what the reason for this issue was. We are waiting for a clarification from the Club Penguin Team (although I highly think they will tell us anything relevant).<\/p>\n

Update – <\/strong>The problem has now been resolved, if you did login on during this period, when you login you will see your penguin as blue, but as soon as you log onto a server, you will be normal.<\/p>\n
