Based on Club Penguin&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/community.clubpenguin.com\/funactivities\/outdoor-activities\/lyric-dj.htm\">Lyric DJ<\/a> game, a total of 1,003 boys and girls aged 8 &#8211; 12 were surveyed asking &#8221;\u00a0If you could invite a celebrity to a party, who would you invite?&#8221; Here are some notable points:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bart Simpson (47%), Harry Potter (46%) and JLS (30%) topped the guest list as their most wanted.<\/li>\n<li>Cheryl Cole, Miley Cyrus and avant-garde pop star Lady Gaga made the cut for the girls.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Other unlikely choices from the boys and girls were as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Over half (56%) of boys chose the mischievous, animated Bart Simpson as their favourite celebrity guest ahead of sporting role models David Beckham (35%) and Lewis Hamilton (25%)<\/li>\n<li>Despite the enchantment of the Royal Wedding, today\u2019s young girls would rather have the magic of a wizard themed party (14%)<\/li>\n<li>And almost half (44%) of girls opted for studious Harry Potter as their number one guest over heart throbs Robert Pattison (9%) and Prince William (17%)!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&#8212;&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>If you want more information on this survey, you can find the full press release below:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p align=\"center\"><strong>Football, JLS, wizards and ice-cream!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><strong>Club Penguin reveals top kids\u2019 party must haves <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cEat my shorts\u201d, \u201cExperlliamus\u201d and \u201cBeat Again\u201d might seem an odd choice of dinner conversation, but when you hear that Bart Simpson (47%), Harry Potter (46%) and the pop band JLS (30%) topped the list of kid\u2019s ideal party guests it makes a bit more sense!<\/p>\n<p>To celebrate the launch of the NEW Lyric DJ game, Club Penguin &#8211; the snow-capped virtual world that plays host to millions of children throwing their own themed igloo parties commissioned research to find out what 8-12 year olds would want to make their dream party.
